The Bachelor of Music program welcomes a new class of students twice a year in the fall and spring. The Bachelor of Arts program currently enrolls a new class once per year starting in the fall semester. You may only apply to either the Bachelor of Music or the Bachelor of Arts program. You cannot apply to both.
You will note the program and term you are applying for in your online application form. Important deadlines and dates for each start term are listed below. After we receive your online application form, you will be scheduled for an audition and/or interview.
There are three admission timelines for the fall term: summer program participants only, early action, and regular action. Learn more about each option and view specific dates below.
Summer program participants have the opportunity to audition early for Berklee College of Music degree programs. The online application for fall admission becomes available on July 1. You must submit your application in order to schedule an audition during the summer. See the Undergraduate Audition Opportunities at Berklee Summer Programs page for more details.
Early action allows undergraduate applicants to apply, audition and/or interview, and be notified of an admissions decision and financial aid award on an accelerated schedule, while still having until May 1 to submit a tuition deposit. Applying for early action is ideal for students who consider Berklee College of Music one of their top-choice schools.
Regular action is available to both undergraduate and graduate applicants. It refers to the college’s standard timeline for receiving applications and issuing decision notifications.
