Open Enrollment is now closed!

C2E is a premier Douglas County S.T.E.A.M. public charter school specializing in math and science through technology immersion. We implement project-based learning in every classroom. Students learn by actively engaging in inquiry based learning through collaboration, critical thinking and problem solving solutions. Our students acquire deeper learning through real-world problems and solutions. Students learn by doing.

C2E combines research-based, best practice curriculum with technology integration for excellence in education. Beyond performing well on standardized tests, our students are able to apply their learning to real life problem solving and production of creative outcomes. Review the information below if you are interested in joining our community.

IMPORTANT – BEFORE YOU BEGIN…

As a parent of a sibling…Please DO NOT create a new account as this will potentially impact your student’s open enrollment. If you have forgotten your Parent Portal account information, please email Bharathi Kamadana at bkamadana@c2e.org.

Rest assured that the priority for enrollment has not changed at C2E. Prospective students who have a sibling already enrolled at C2E will be given priority (be sure to mark a student as a sibling when applying), as well as the children of current staff members, and in-district applicants (applicants residing within Douglas County, applies to first round only).

C2E Student Withdrawal Process

What To Do If you plan to move out of C2E
We understand that family situations and education needs change and, as a charter school, C2E understands and supports parent choice! However, since the loss of a student affects our school funding and our ability to offer spots to other students on our waitlist, please follow the process below:

Please note:
  1. It is important that your student returns all school-owned books and materials and close out any school fees and lunch account balances.
  2. The Registrar will release records to your child’s new school once the withdrawal process is complete.

Returning After Unenrolling from C2E
While we very much appreciate that families sometimes wish to return to C2E after leaving, we cannot guarantee or hold a spot for students once they have been unenrolled.

Parents interested in returning to C2E must go through the DCSD Open enrollment process again. The enrollment lottery happens in November of each year for the following academic year. Students can still be added to the waitlist after the lottery takes place.
