Frequently Asked Questions

How much money can be awarded?

$500 max depending on funding availability.

What documentation is needed?

What if I am not approved or have long-term needs?

We encourage students who may not have met the criteria for emergency aid or demonstrated a sustained need to connect with your student care coordinator for ongoing support.

Through personalized care coordination services, students can explore various avenues, including financial literacy, budgeting education, scholarship opportunities and assistance with FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) applications. Active engagement in these services can positively influence future emergency aid applications. We are here to help you thrive!

Do I need to repay the funds?

No. Unlike a loan, money awarded through this fund does not need to be repaid.

How often can I apply?

Students can apply for emergency aid assistance whenever in financial need; however, aid will only be granted once per semester per student dependent upon funding availability.
